At the Lee Law Firm, we realize that few people can afford to pay a lawyer by the hour, or even to pay the costs of a case. However, equal justice demands equal access to our courts, which is why the fee for our services is a performance-based "contingency fee."
A "contingency fee" is a percentage of the amount we recover for you; the percentage we charge varies depending on the type of case. "Contingency" means that our fee is contingent upon recovering damages for you. In short, the Lee Law Firm gets paid only if you get paid. We do not take "retainer fees," we do not charge for consultations, and we do not get paid unless we recover money for you.
The ethical rules that lawyers must follow in Washington provide that clients must remain ultimately responsible for the payment of the "costs" of their lawsuit. However, we ordinarily front the costs of our cases, paying for filing fees, depositions, messenger fees and the like. For a full explanation of what this means, please fee free to contact Mr. Lee for an appointment. You may call us at (877) 447-1470, or email us at Info@leelaw.us. |
